Faye is the Team leader at Woden and is joined by Amy and other adult volunteers and Young Leaders.
Each week Cubs usually starts with an opening ceremony, then an active game, and then the particular activity that will be covered that week. It could be lighting fires outside, making a bird box, or learning some basic first aid. Its always varied, hands on and fun. Cubs ends with another game and then a closing ceremony.
There is lots of scope for parents and volunteers to help and join in the fun. Why not come along as a helper for a few weeks (with no obligation) to find out.
As well as the Wednesday meetings at the hut, Woden Cubs also run outdoor activities away from the hut. They might go climbing, take part on a hike, or weekend camps and day trips. As we are a group the two Cubs packs often do activities together.
