Scout 1,087 mile fundraisers

Claines Scouts had the pleasure of hosting The Great Woggle JOGLE team at the Worcester Show and overnight at the Den on 13th August.
The team consisting of a Cub, a Scout, an Explorer and 3 leaders from 1st Chandlers Ford Scout Group are walking and cycling the 1087 miles from John O@Groats to Land end to raise money for Children in Need and a new scout hut.
That means they will be on the move virtually every day in July and August. A phenomenal feat!
We hosted them on the Scouts Worcester stand at the Worcester Show and paraded them through the crowds to the main stage where they were interviewed live by the district crew and then by BBC Hereford and Worcester.
They stayed over in our Den before leaving Worcester to travel to Gloucester the next day.
