Scouts win Worcester District Backwoods Cooking Competition

Date: 23rd May 2024 Author: Simon Burney

One of our teams consisting of Rai, Emily, Elias, Olivia and James from Aztec Scouts won the annual fire cooking competition.

Up against Scouts from across Worcester they created a 3 course meal consisting of cheesy nachos to start, Mexican stuffed peppers, potato wedges, corn on the cob with cucumber salsa for main, and fruit kebabs for dessert.

Lots of great chopping, fire skills, cooking and presentation skills in action.

Well done Scouts!
