Aztec Scout wins the County “My Best Scouting Adventure” competition

Aztec Scout Aimee won the competition in May after submitting her adventure on summer camp last year. This is what Aimeee submitted…

“ This is a photo of Scout Aimee from 8th Worcester Aztec Friday Scouts during a mud run at Dorset Water Park and Mud Trail in August 2019 during a well packed Scout Summer Camp at Buddens Scout Camp in Dorset. The week-long camp included abseiling, climbing, canoeing, Jacobs ladder, campfires, lots of cooking, disc golf, tug of war and lots of wide games, a visit to a tank museum and a beach BBQ.

We also had the great opportunity of visiting Brownsea Island and renewing our promise there and completing a 10k hike which finished off with a fish and chip supper. The highlight of the whole week was the mud run and all the scouts and leaders enjoyed getting very muddy indeed!” #ScoutsHW #Adventure #WeLoveScouting. A massive well done!
