Aztec Scouts survival and bush craft skills
Aztec Scouts completed their survival skills badge in May learning how to survive a weekend camping out in improvised shelters, cooking rabbit and chicken (& celeriac) over improvised spits, learning bush craft skills, signalling to aircraft, filtering water to drink, lighting fires without matches, and generally having outdoor fun.
The Scouts then put their new skills into action two weeks later at the Scout District back woods cooking competition and we are really proud that our 3 teams came 4th, 5th and 6th out of the 18 teams across Worcester that entered.
Well done Aztec Scouts you did great.
